Where it all began.

Ever since the beginning of [my] time, I have been a creator. As a kid who was always doodling and working on creative projects, going to school for a degree in graphic design felt like a no-brainer. Over time, my interest has shifted more towards the technical side (UX), but I will always have a passion for visual design.

Below are a collection of links to my past visual design projects.

It’s all fun and games.

When I graduated from art school, I had the pleasure of working for a Boston Facebook game company, PLAOR. Collaborating with artists to rebrand the game and make the flashiest ads for our poker and slots games was a lot of fun.

While working side by side with UX designers and gaming nerds, I became captivated by the idea that people design these experiences to provide fun for users. From then on I knew I wanted to be a UX designer.

A spark for sustainability.

As an avid skier it’s no surprise I eventually made my pilgrimage to Colorado. I eagerly took on the job as a graphic designer at Simple Energy, now known as Uplift. While there, not only did I produce marketing collateral, corporate branding materials and build my web and product design skills; my interest in sustainability was born.

Small biz owner.

In 2016 I took the leap into entrepreneurship and tried my hand at freelancing, working on a mix of visual design and digital products. Of these, my favorites were front range companies Brandcards, Zayo and Convercent.

While also freelancing in 2019 I enjoyed collaborating with the team at Redeam in Boulder, CO.

Gone with the wind.

At Four Winds interactive my UX/UI skills really took off when I was rapidly cranking on projects for clients such as the Toronto Airport and Jollibee. Working with so many brands and creative directors provided plenty of opportunities to stretch my visual design capabilities.

I also had a lot of fun there, creating post-it art and hosting an Earth Week event. During this time I delved into my interest in sustainability.

Information organization.

These days, while I have been utilizing design systems more to create my designs, I still do a fair bit of visual design, especially in terms of organizing information. Creating a hierarchy is important aspect of helping the user navigate the page, especially when the information is so dense.

Did I miss anything?
